Types of Events
Community Outreach Events
Community Outreach Events are designed to talk to the general public and take place at festivals, fairs and other social avenues. The idea is to spread awareness about these sophisticated plants to those that have no idea they grow so close to them.
Typically only Board members are asked to run the tables at such events however from time to time we might need more help.

Meet & Greets
Meet & Greets are designed for members to get together to eat, talk about our plants and maybe even trade a few plants. Sometimes these events take place near a place of interest such as a carnivorous plant nursery or even a carnivorous plant habitat.
Everyone and anyone with any interest in carnivorous plants are encouraged to attend these events. If you would like to see one of these in a community near you please let us know!

Field Tours
Field Tours are just what the title suggests. This is a chance to see carnivorous plants in their habitats, growing wild and free. However these habitats are dwindling so while it may be an amazing adventure for you just remember that it might wank on the heartstrings as well.
These tours are for paying members only and they sure are worth the yearly membership fee. Head over to the Membership page to read more about it.
